Bali's best helicopter tour season is during the dry season from April to October. During these months, you get clear skies, minimal cloud cover, and excellent visibility for aerial photography. The peak months of June, July, and August offer the most consistently clear conditions.
For time of day, morning flights (7-10 AM) generally offer the best visibility and calmest air conditions. The atmosphere is clearer before midday heat creates thermal updrafts and haze. If you want a sunset tour, book for late afternoon (4-5 PM) when the golden hour light creates spectacular photo opportunities.
The wet season (November to March) does not mean you cannot fly. Mornings in wet season are often clear, with rain typically arriving in the afternoon. Our pilots monitor weather conditions closely and will reschedule if visibility drops below safe limits.
