The Full Island Tour is designed to cover the maximum area within 60 minutes while maintaining comfortable viewing altitude throughout. The route begins at the helipad in southern Bali and heads south toward the Bukit Peninsula, passing over the Uluwatu cliffs and temple before turning east toward Nusa Penida. After crossing the Badung Strait and overflying Nusa Penida's southwestern cliffs (including Kelingking Beach), the route returns to Bali's eastern coast and climbs toward Mount Agung. The volcanic interior — including Pura Besakih, the Agung summit, Mount Batur, and Lake Batur — forms the central section of the tour. The descent from the highlands brings you over the northern coast at Lovina before the return south over the rice terrace valleys of central Bali and the Ubud cultural landscape.

The only areas not typically covered in depth are the far west (Tabanan/Negara), which can be added via the Custom Charter.
Is the Full Island Tour suitable for children?
Yes. Children who can sit independently, wear a headset, and understand basic safety instructions can join the flight. There is no minimum age, but very young children may find the headset noise and the enclosed space uncomfortable. We suggest the 30-minute Uluwatu flight for first-time flyers with young children, upgrading to the Full Island Tour once they are comfortable.
Can the route be customized?
The Full Island Tour has a standard route that is optimized for coverage and photography. Minor adjustments to emphasize certain areas (more time over the volcanoes, an extended Nusa Penida overflight) can be discussed when you book. For full route customization, the Custom Charter service gives you complete control.
What happens if weather makes part of the route unavailable?
If weather prevents access to a section of the route (most commonly the volcanic interior in cloudy conditions), our pilot will communicate this and offer options: modify the route to cover other areas instead, or reschedule if conditions are broadly poor. We never push a flight into conditions that compromise safety or significantly reduce the experience.
